The State of California has deemed the City of South Pasadena’s Housing Element noncompliant and has requested a revised draft. South Pasadena Tenants Union and YIMBYLaw were cited in the decision. SPTU will continue to submit comments expressing dissatisfaction with the city’s failure to act on tenants’ protections. Renters are urged to make comments at City Council meetings to push for rent control implementation.
